Introducing India to the rest of the world.

I have grown up in India and matured in America. I have lived both the interdependent and the independent life. Eventually my tender innocent feminine self overpowered my mature powerful masculine identity and now I am back in India. Just like many Americans hold India in some part of their hearts, I hold America and Americans in one safe corner of my heart too.

Now speaking of India,in this blog, I am going to show you the real movie, the real filth and the real beauty, the complete package that is India. No bias what so ever. I love my country and I accept it with the good and the bad.

Starting with the most recent incident. I am a woman entrepreneur and have signed up with various Govt organizations to receive updates on upcoming overseas business opportunities. Why do I need updates? Because I am an micro mini exporter wanting to see India supplying big time in the world map. Not just because I love my country but also because raw material (Of any kind) is abundant here and very cheap. All the creators in the world can receive their raw material right from here. There are some misconceptions about Indian Quality standards but I ll overcome them with time by supplying high quality material at low cost.

Anyways... I got an email from one Govt office saying that there is an opportunity to go to morocco for ONE Woman entrepreneur to participate in an exhibit on the eve of International Woman's Day. I replied as soon as I rcvd the email that I would participate. I got a response from an international Indian Govt office saying that I had been selected. Being a micro industry entrepreneur I was overjoyed at this opportunity. I started preparing, planning.. only to get a call from an Indian govt office in India saying that they had selected someone else and I was no longer participating. Should I call this politics or mis communication?

I being a believer, thought it was some mis communication. I called the Govt office in India and gave them a piece of my mind. Somewhere I was deeply hurt too. How often does an opportunity where almost all expenses are covered for an international trade fair present itself? I couldnt hold back my tears from the talking official. He apologized and I forgave.

But this incident is one big sign pushing me closer to my humongous export goals for India and being a trendsetter in supplying excellent quality raw material to the rest of the world. :-)

and that's India. It's black and white!
