Bulk Fabric Gift Wrap DIY idea

Bulk Fabric Gift Wrap DIY idea

If you haven’t heard of this one before, then here it is for you. Super cheap, Super fast, Super pretty, Super unique idea, especially when there are a lot of people to be gifted.

Step 1: Pick any fabric you like. Then Depending on the size of the gift, pick the size of the fabric. It could be square or rectangle. I had to gift a box of chocolates, so I picked a square fabric piece of 15 by 15 inches.

Step 2: Next, either hem, stitch or pico the edges of the piece of fabric. My designer friend who recommended this idea to me thinks that pico with a contrast color would really lift the edges of the fabric when the ends of the fabric are tie wrapped together.

Step 3: Place the piece of fabric on a flat surface. Place your gift at the center of the fabric. Pick up the four ends of the fabric together.

Step 4: Using a contrast color satin ribbon or a fancy golden lace, tie the four ends of the fabric together as shown in the picture. And your beautiful easy to make gift wrap is ready.

Tip: If the satin ribbon or the fancy lace when cut starts dispensing loose threads, hold the ends on a lighter or gas stove for 2 secs and pull it off. Be very cautious when near the flame. The burnt edges will now secure the ends of the ribbon or the lace forever.

You gift is now ready to be beautifully gifted.
